How to Cancel

You may cancel your Meridian membership at any time using any of the following methods:

  • Member portal: Log in to your account, navigate to Account Settings → Membership, and select "Cancel membership." Cancellation is immediate upon confirmation.
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to care@northmarkhealth.com from the email address on file. Include your full name and the last 4 digits of the payment method used.

Cancellations are processed within 1 business day. You will receive a confirmation email when your cancellation is complete.

When Cancellation Takes Effect

Your membership remains active through the end of the current billing period after cancellation. No new charges will be made after cancellation is confirmed.

Example: If your billing date is the 15th of each month and you cancel on the 10th, your membership remains active through the 14th. You will not be charged on the 15th.

Example: If your billing date is the 15th and you cancel on the 16th (after the charge has processed), your membership remains active through the following 14th. The charge already made is not refunded.

Refunds

Fee Type Refund Policy
Onboarding fee — no clinical path forward Refunded in full within 5–7 business days
Onboarding fee — all other cancellations Non-refundable
Monthly membership fee Non-refundable once billing period begins
Medication (billed by pharmacy) Subject to pharmacy's return policy — contact the pharmacy directly

Refunds to credit cards typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Onboarding Fee Refund — Clinical Determination

If the licensed provider who reviews your intake determines that GLP-1 therapy is not clinically appropriate for you, your onboarding fee will be refunded in full — no action required on your part. You will receive an email explaining the provider's general determination (no specific clinical detail is disclosed). The refund is processed within 5–7 business days.

Reactivation

You may reactivate a cancelled membership at any time. A new onboarding fee may apply if your account has been inactive for more than 90 days or if your clinical intake requires a new provider review. Contact care@northmarkhealth.com to reactivate.

Meridian-Initiated Cancellation

Meridian may cancel your membership if:

  • You violate the Terms of Service
  • Payment cannot be collected after 3 retry attempts over 7 days
  • A provider determines that continued GLP-1 therapy is clinically inappropriate
  • You provide materially false or misleading health information

In the event of Meridian-initiated cancellation due to reasons outside your control (service discontinuation, licensing changes), a prorated refund of the unused portion of your current billing period will be issued.

Important Safety Information (ISI) — GLP-1 Receptor Agonists

GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide) are FDA-approved prescription medications. They are not appropriate for everyone. Do not use if you or a family member have a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Serious risks include: pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney problems, hypoglycemia (in patients using insulin or insulin secretagogues), heart rate increase, suicidal ideation and behavior, and serious allergic reactions. Tell your provider about all medications you take and all medical conditions.

The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, and stomach pain. These are usually mild and decrease over time.

Not for use in patients with type 1 diabetes. If you experience severe abdominal pain, stop the medication and seek immediate medical attention. For full prescribing information, consult your Meridian Health provider.
