Discontinue and seek medical attention if you experience signs of hypersensitivity. This is not a complete list of risks. Ask your provider for full safety information before starting therapy.

If there is no clinical path forward after provider review, your onboarding fee is fully refunded. You will never be charged a recurring membership fee if a prescription cannot be written. No card is captured during the eligibility assessment.

Important Safety Information (ISI) — GLP-1 Receptor Agonists

GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide) are FDA-approved prescription medications. They are not appropriate for everyone. Do not use if you or a family member have a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Serious risks include: pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney problems, hypoglycemia (in patients using insulin or insulin secretagogues), heart rate increase, suicidal ideation and behavior, and serious allergic reactions. Tell your provider about all medications you take and all medical conditions.

The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, and stomach pain. These are usually mild and decrease over time.

Not for use in patients with type 1 diabetes. If you experience severe abdominal pain, stop the medication and seek immediate medical attention. For full prescribing information, consult your Meridian Health provider.
