About

We built Meridian because the standard of care for metabolic health needed to be better.

GLP-1 therapy is one of the most clinically significant developments in metabolic medicine in decades. Most people who need it can't access it — or can't access it safely.

The problem we're solving.

GLP-1 receptor agonists have demonstrated meaningful, durable weight reduction in large-scale clinical trials. The ADA, AACE, and OMA all include them in evidence-based treatment guidelines. Yet access remains inconsistent, expensive, and medically unsupervised in too many cases.

Prescription mills and no-review telehealth platforms have made GLP-1 medications available without the clinical oversight those medications require. Meridian was built to do the opposite: rigorous review, real providers, ongoing care.

Our clinical standards.

Every patient's history is reviewed by a licensed provider before any prescription is written. Our clinical protocols are aligned with ADA, AACE, and OMA guidelines for metabolic care. Providers are verified at onboarding and re-verified quarterly.

We do not approve every application. Eligibility is not guaranteed and the assessment result is provisional. A real clinician makes the final call on every case.

How we operate.

Provider-first

Every care decision is made by a licensed clinician. Technology handles coordination. Providers handle medicine.

Evidence-based

Our protocols follow ADA, AACE, and OMA clinical guidelines. We do not use unproven or off-label compounded formulations.

HIPAA-first

All patient data is encrypted, access-logged, and handled under signed BAAs. Analytics are blocked on all PHI-scoped pages.

No exaggerated claims

We describe what providers do and what clinical studies show. We do not promise weight loss or guaranteed outcomes.

Transparent pricing

Membership fees, onboarding fees, and medication costs are disclosed before any payment is captured.

Refund if no path

If a provider determines there is no clinical path forward, the onboarding fee is refunded. No recurring charge without a prescription.

Clinical leadership.

About our provider network. Meridian Health does not employ physicians. Independent licensed providers practice on the Meridian platform. Meridian coordinates care logistics — scheduling, messaging, prescription routing, and billing — but does not direct clinical decisions. All prescribing decisions are made independently by licensed providers.

Important Safety Information (ISI) — GLP-1 Receptor Agonists

GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide) are FDA-approved prescription medications. They are not appropriate for everyone. Do not use if you or a family member have a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Serious risks include: pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney problems, hypoglycemia (in patients using insulin or insulin secretagogues), heart rate increase, suicidal ideation and behavior, and serious allergic reactions. Tell your provider about all medications you take and all medical conditions.

The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, and stomach pain. These are usually mild and decrease over time.

Not for use in patients with type 1 diabetes. If you experience severe abdominal pain, stop the medication and seek immediate medical attention. For full prescribing information, consult your Meridian Health provider.
