Pricing questions

The onboarding fee covers your initial provider review, intake processing, and care plan setup. It is a one-time charge. If the provider determines there is no clinical path forward, the onboarding fee is refunded in full.
Medication is billed separately by the pharmacy on Essentials and Care tiers. Pricing depends on the specific medication prescribed and your insurance coverage. Your provider will discuss medication options and estimated costs before your prescription is sent. Complete tier includes medication in the monthly membership.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your membership tier from your member portal. Tier changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Upgrading mid-cycle is prorated. No additional onboarding fee is charged on tier changes.

Important Safety Information (ISI) — GLP-1 Receptor Agonists

GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide) are FDA-approved prescription medications. They are not appropriate for everyone. Do not use if you or a family member have a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Serious risks include: pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney problems, hypoglycemia (in patients using insulin or insulin secretagogues), heart rate increase, suicidal ideation and behavior, and serious allergic reactions. Tell your provider about all medications you take and all medical conditions.

The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, and stomach pain. These are usually mild and decrease over time.

Not for use in patients with type 1 diabetes. If you experience severe abdominal pain, stop the medication and seek immediate medical attention. For full prescribing information, consult your Meridian Health provider.
